17th Annual CERT Rodeo 2024
The CERT Rodeo is a yearly training event for CERT teams from Houston, Harris County, and surrounding areas, offering a day of skill practice, team building, and enjoyment.
BayCERT takes part in events designed to assess the proficiency in skills gained through CERT training, such as triage, medical treatment, patient transport, fire suppression, tower search, evidence identification, cribbing, size-up, and haz-mat identification.
BayCERT achieved the highest score in all practical assessments during the recent evaluation, showcasing their commitment, rigorous training, and effective strategies. The practicals tested skills, teamwork, and problem-solving under pressure. However, BayCERT did not earn points in the Amazing Race segment.
We want to recognize and give a special thanks to the all of the CERT members that participated along BayCERT.
